The dual lens capability allows the operator to locate a target
area on the macrofiche map by using the low magnification lens.
Switching over to high magnification lens, lets the target area
to be observed in more detail. The dual carrier allows two macrofiche

look no further then the MicroColor 6100 Reader. Designed to view 105mm colour macrofiche maps, the MicroColor 6100 Reader features a 20" wide x 13" high grey non-glare screen. The excellent light output provides for sharper, brighter images and even illumination. This dual lens and dual carrier reader comes complete with two lenses. The first lens allows 12x viewing and the second lens is a magnifier that can enlarge any portion of the image on the screen by 29x. The dual carrier lets two macrofiche maps to be loaded side by side in the same carrier. This gives the option of different scale macrofiche maps of the target area to be loaded into the carrier at the same time. An operator can quickly switch from one scale to the other without loading/unloading different scale macrofiche maps of the target area. Alternatively two adjacent 'edge matching' maps can be loaded to give seamless viewing from one macrofiche map to the next. The 6100 also features an energy- saving Hi/Low light intensity switch.
